What does a free-demo involve?

A free demo for our ERM or EWP software involves an interactive demonstration of the software from one of our product experts. The demo runs through all the core-features and functionalities of the tool with additional information on pricing, configurability and implementation. Queries and further information on the tool is covered during this meeting as well.

The demo is free of cost and also obligation free and takes 30-40 minutes. In the scenario that you are further interested in the software and would like to trial it out for yourself, we can then set you up for a free trial of the tool.

What does a free-trial of Saviom include?

A free-trial of Saviom ERM or Saviom EWP includes an obligation-free customized trial that the user can trial for 4 to 6 weeks.

As a first step we would understand your requirements. Accordingly we will configure the system and walk-thru the system with you to ensure that the system matches your requirement. Then we will provide you access to the system URL on our trial cloud server.

Are Saviom’s products SAS offerings?

Saviom’s offerings are not SAS solutions. We can host our solution on a company server or a cloud server of your choice. If in the scenario you don’t have either, we can organise for the software to be stored through one of our several cloud partners.

Can Saviom sit on the cloud?

Yes it can. Many of our clients have our solution stored in a cloud server.

How does the licensing work for Saviom ERM and Saviom EWP?

Saviom ERM and Saviom EWP each provide two different sets of licenses. Our licensing is structured depending on the types of users. They are:

Power Licenses: Power licenses are for those users who need full access to the system with all editing capabilities. For example resource managers, resource planners/ schedulers, administrators will all require power licenses.

Lite licenses: Lite licenses are for those users, who need view only access to the system with very limited edit capability. For example individual team members and higher management may require lite licenses.

Non Users are those users, who don't need access to the system. But your resource managers can schedule them on various projects, view their utilization & check their availability. You can create as many non –users as you want & there is no licensing costs involved.

What is the pricing for these licenses?

Details of pricing is determined on the number of licenses that the client is looking to possess for their company. Ballpark pricing can be given as per request to a Saviom team member.

How long does the implementation of Saviom take?

Implementation can vary depending on the number of users and licenses looking to come onto the software. This can vary from 2 to 6 weeks.

What is the difference between Resource Management and Project Management Software?

Resource Management software is built primarily for your resource allocation and forecasting. The main focus of such a tool is to effectively deploy resources onto different company work (whether they are project or non-project related activities) in the present or the future.

Project management tools are generally built to encompass the entire project management process which includes estimation and project planning, cost control, budget management, resource allocation and collaboration management (and several others!). Current PM tools only provide limited functionalities that barely cover the vast requirements needed for for even basic resource management.

Is the software built for a specific industry?

No. Our client base are from a variety of different industries including companies within the consulting, engineering, construction, defence and technology, express delivery and NGO’s.

Is the software built for small, medium or large enterprises?

Saviom’s solutions tend to be focused more closer to medium to large sized organisations however we do have a number of important smaller clients too.

Does Saviom provide 24/7 support for the implementation and maintenance of the software?

Yes we do. We provide global support for all our clients around the world.

Saviom was founded in 1999. Our current solutions however have been in the market for the last 6 years.
