Artificial intelligence has become a buzzword which has pervaded all our lives. And in most cases, it is expected that automation will create major changes in the way we work in the future.
Even if the change is not imminent right now, industry experts such as Fortune have stated that 40% of jobs will be replaced by robots in the future.
Most organisations are considering AI and other technological advancements in many areas, starting from manufacturing to customer management. The introduction of technology has made some rapid changes in the way we work. And ideally, automation will lead to some major changes, to the extent of AI replacing jobs.
However, the major question remains,
Will robots take our jobs?
It is probably not an easy answer to provide, but the concern is far from being baseless. The expectation of AI and advanced technology is that processes will become smarter in the long run. However, the problem is that it may also make a few jobs redundant.

This is probably the largest area where people are scared that jobs will be taken over. When the production process for most commodities produced today have been mechanised, the operational aspect can also be handled by AI.

Robots today are constantly being developed and are learning and adapting to their environment.
To some extent, there will be a significant impact of artificial intelligence on employment. But, one should also remember that empathy, cognitive thinking, and emotional intelligence are things that make humans unique and irreplaceable.
AI has a great future and will be one of the most important tools for organisations in the future. But, it is unlikely that even the best of robots would not be able to replicate the warmth and understanding of a human being.
